About the Role

As the new Sales & Production Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering precise preliminary estimates, contract costings, variation pricing, and site evaluations. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical estimating expertise with a deep understanding of residential building processes across a variety of build types. Reporting to the Directors, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and construction to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate preliminary tenders and contract documents

- Conduct cost analysis for variations and site-specific expenses

- Support sales and operational teams with cost-effective estimating and insights

- Maintain current trade pricing and manage supplier negotiations

- Apply deep knowledge of site works and construction nuances

- Deliver estimating with precision and commercial awareness

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of sales estimating experience within residential high end bespoke custom building and renovations

- Commercial experience desirable

- Strong working knowledge of site costings and varied residential & commercial build types

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Advanced software skills across Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project

- Experience with Estimating Software such as Databuild, Builder Trend or CostX

- Experience with Buildxact Highly Regarded

- High attention to detail and methodical approach

- Diploma in Building, Trade Background, or Degree Qualification (highly regarded)
