AA Concrete Co are an established Residential and Commercial Concrete business located in Craigieburn. We are a progressive and innovative business built on the foundation of quality, excellence, efficiency and superior service.

Our continual growth has presented an excellent opportunity for a Newly created full time Sales Estimator to join our team.

This role involves analysing engineering plans, preparing detailed cost breakdowns, and generating quotes for clients. Working closely with our builders, the job requires strong technical knowledge of site cuts, concrete, formwork and steel reinforcement for residential and commercial concrete slabs, tilt panels and driveways, as well as excellent communication and negotiating skills.

You will be working with the Construction Managers and reporting to the Managing Director

This is a Full-Time position with hours from 6.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities and experience:

Quoting: Preparing accurate and timely quotations for clients based on the estimated costs, ensuring they align with company pricing and margin.

Client Communication: Interacting with clients, builders, and other stakeholders

Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of quotes, project information, and pricing data.

Site Visits: Conducting site visits to assess project feasibility and liaise with builders

Liaison: Collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of concrete, formwork and steel reinforcement

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex project plans, interpret specifications, and identify potential cost drivers.

Numerical Skills: Strong mathematical skills for accurate cost and margin estimations.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using estimating software, spreadsheets, and other relevant computer programmes.

Industry Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the concrete construction or building industry.

Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Sales: Ability to negotiate the quote to a sale based off margin and follow up.
