Estimator – Technical Concrete & Civil Packages

At Concretum, we deliver technical concrete work — the kind most won’t touch. We’re not just pricing subbie packages anymore — we’re winning and delivering head contracts for councils and developers that include full landscape and civil scopes, with a strong focus on concrete-heavy, architecturally demanding projects.

We’re looking for an Estimator who’s technically capable, commercially sharp, and takes full ownership of their work. Someone who can look beyond square metre rates and think strategically about how a job will actually be built — because at Concretum, we back our prices with execution.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the full estimating process — from early client engagement through to pricing, proposal submission, and handover to delivery. You’ll work on a mix of public and private head contracts, including:

Council upgrades

Civic infrastructure

High-spec commercial developments

Skateparks, shotcrete structures, complex landscape concrete elements

You’ll:

Lead quoting and estimating using AroFlo, Bluebeam, and PowerBI

Read and interrogate plans, shape the scope, and avoid surprises later

Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to lock in competitive rates

Prepare clear, accurate, and professional proposals that reflect our brand and standards

Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project transitions

Take part in reviews to track win rates, pricing performance, and continuous improvement

You own your work. You understand that what you price affects what gets built, and you take pride in making sure the right jobs come through the door — scoped properly, priced fairly, and set up for success.

You’ll thrive here if you:

Have strong experience estimating in construction — ideally concrete, civil, or structural

Know how to break down a complex project and spot design or scope gaps early

Can confidently use or learn AroFlo, Bluebeam, PowerBI

Communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and back yourself

Care about producing quality documentation and proposals — clean, clear, and on point
