This small and dynamic family construction company is perfect for someone wishing to broaden their skills and experience through a combination of commercial, civil, industrial and domestic work. We are seeking a results-driven construction engineer to help manage our construction projects. You will be contributing to the planning, design and administration of all projects, identifying and allocating resources to each of the project's stages, and overseeing the engineering processes.

To ensure success in this role, you should demonstrate experience as a construction engineer and the ability to provide leadership when liaising with architects, staff, subcontractors, suppliers and all other stakeholders. As an accomplished construction engineer you will be someone whose expertise results in constructions that are cost-effective and structurally sound.

We are seeking someone who has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or similar.

At least 3 years experience in the relevant field of specialization.

Advance proficiency in construction management software, such as BuildXact and or Buildsoft and CAD.

Experienced in monitoring quality and supporting site supervisors with planning and scheduling.

Experienced in procurement, cost tracking and project reporting.

Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings.

· In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations to ensure design & construction compliance of all projects.

· Track record of contributing to the safety of the workplace by adherence and leadership in the application of WH&S policies, practices and procedures.

Skilled in preparing program claims, variations, EOT’s and RFI’s.

Great mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Availability to visit the construction site outside of business hours, when relevant.

Wage is negotiable depending on skills and experience. We will be offering between $75,000 to $85,000 plus Super depending on experience.
