About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a Casual Male Community Support Worker to join our friendly and passionate team at Thrive Outdoors. This community-based role is all about supporting people living with disability or mental health challenges to live independently, connect with others, and enjoy life to the fullest.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting clients to build independence and confidence

Assisting with appointments, errands, and social activities

Encouraging goal-setting and personal development

Getting out and about – from coffee catch-ups and walks to museum visits, fishing trips, footy games and more!

We’re Looking For:

A caring, reliable and down-to-earth person

A great communicator with a sense of humour

Someone who’s flexible, non-judgmental, and values inclusion

Experience in disability, mental health, youth or community services (bonus points!)

Requirements:

Cert III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care (or equivalent)

First Aid & CPR (current)

Police Check (current)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

Valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle

Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
