The Role:

This role is perfect for someone with a manufacturing background looking for change, packaging experience, printing experience, warehousing experience, brewing knowledge/experience or if you have the ability to work with complex machinery. All that said, we are happy to talk to anyone with a strong work ethic and passion. You would be working alongside and be supported by our supply team leader and our digital pre-press team leader.

The rostering for this position will be a 4 days on/4 days off - averaging 70 hours per fortnight. Staff will be rotated between a morning shift, an afternoon/evening shift and Late night shift on a 3-6month rotation. Staff will be paid an annual salary, which is well above the award rate and incorporates all penalty and shift loadings.

Responsibilities:

Safe and Efficient Operation of Hinterkopf D240.2 Digital Direct-to-Can Printer and accessory machinery (after appropriate training)

Daily QA Procedures

Preventative and breakdown maintenance of machinery

Able to work remotely without supervision

Efficiently pack and secure all outgoing pallets

Job sheets and address label printing and checks

Safe operation of Forklift

Produce high-quality work ensuring customers are thrilled with their product

Key Attributes, Skills and Experience

Technical maintenance capabilities

The ability to work autonomously and efficiently

Good communication skills are required above all else.

A customer-focused, 'can do' attitude is essential for us to serve our customers.

You will need a calm and friendly demeanour, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is an advantage, not a requirement

Individuals with engineering or trade backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Holds a forklift licence (not essential but preferred)

This technology has never been available to the Australian can beverage industry (and is only 5 years old in the US). It has removed the need for customers to commit to large numbers of stock, increasing the flexibility and creativity customer branding. This machine can and will open up so many opportunities for the craft brewery and boutique beverage industry that we are very excited about and want you to be a part of.
