$63.40–$71.29 per hour + Super (depending on experience)
Security Clearance/Requirements:
Must hold an NV1 security clearance
Working Arrangements:
Full-time, on-site role with some flexibility depending on operational requirements
ABOUT THE ROLE
A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Logistics and Asset Coordinator to support a high-profile federal government agency. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating logistics and maintaining security equipment stock levels used at Australian missions globally.
This role will see you working closely with a project team to assist in the global refresh of critical security assets. It's well suited to someone with strong logistics, coordination, and inventory management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage stock levels and assist with procurement of security-related equipment
• Coordinate and oversee delivery and storage of project equipment at Canberra and offsite locations
• Prepare and manage shipments to both domestic and international sites
• Maintain and update the security asset database for equipment in use and in storage
• Conduct stocktakes and audits of all security equipment holdings
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to internal stakeholders
• Work independently to plan, prioritise and complete tasks to meet project deadlines
• Manage a shared mailbox and maintain appropriate filing and document control procedures
• Undertake additional project and logistics-related tasks as directed by the Project Manager
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Proven capacity to manage workload with minimal supervision, including in high-pressure or dynamic environments
Desirable:
• Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and procurement processes
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and hold an NV1 security clearance.
