About The Company

Our client is an innovative Australian-owned AgTech company behind a world-first, patented AI-powered avian deterrent system. This cutting-edge technology humanely redirects birds from agricultural and commercial sites using species-specific communication—preventing habituation and improving crop yield protection across a range of environments. With strong growth momentum, particularly in the agriculture sector, the company is now looking for a driven and strategic leader to head up national sales.

About The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead the national sales strategy, drive new customer acquisition, and scale sales operations for a globally recognised solution. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will focus on expanding across Australia’s agricultural markets while preparing for global commercialisation.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies across key agricultural regions to drive growth
  • Identify and secure new clients, distributors, and strategic partnerships
  • Lead and support a geographically dispersed sales team while managing key accounts
  • Build strong relationships with growers, agronomists, and industry stakeholders
  • Provide market insights, maintain accurate CRM records, and report results to the executive team

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven success in national or senior agricultural sales leadership, with a strong track record of exceeding targets
  • Deep understanding of Australian farming systems, crop protection, and rural markets
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and building lasting client relationships
  • Strong leadership and experience working across reseller, co-op, and direct-to-farm channels
  • CRM discipline, structured sales process expertise, and flexibility to travel regularly
