THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

Lead strategic sales growth across Queensland - Manage and develop a team of 7 BDMs spread from Ballina to Cairns, coordinating activities across one of Australia's most diverse and expansive sales territories.

Career advancement into senior sales leadership - Report directly to the National Sales Manager with opportunities for further progression as the business continues its rapid expansion.

Collaborative, empowering team culture with strong support - Work within a business that values autonomy and empowerment for state managers, with comprehensive processes and systems plus ongoing training and development opportunities.

Process improvement and system implementation - Become the go-to person for Salesforce and all internal platforms, supporting team development and process optimisation as the business continues to evolve.

New business development and prospecting coordination - Manage the regional prospecting database and coordinate strategic meetings with key suppliers to drive market share growth.

Team development and performance management - Deliver ongoing training across all company platforms, and ensure customer activity objectives are achieved through regular coaching and mentoring.

Comprehensive customer portfolio management - Oversee 1,800+ customers across 7 territories, each BDM managing 180–220 customers on a 6-week call cycle, focusing on high-value activities rather than order taking.

Strategic product and pricing responsibility - Lead implementation of product strategies, manage showroom agreements and display space negotiations, and maintain pricing discipline across all customer segments.

Marketing Management - Coordinate state-based marketing events, manage sample programmes, and ensure optimal allocation of promotional resources to maximise return on investment.

Strong earning potential - $135,000 base salary plus 10% annual bonus structure, company car, fuel card, laptop, phone, and comprehensive travel expense coverage.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Sales team leadership experience - Proven track record managing sales professionals, ideally in building and construction-related industries or trade-focused environments where active selling and relationship building are essential.
