Step In. Stand Up. Own It.
We’re looking for a full-time Level 3 Support Engineer to join our Sydney CBD office. This senior-level position is ideal for someone with proven technical depth who’s also comfortable guiding others and engaging directly with clients.
You’ll act as the primary escalation point for infrastructure, networking and systems issues, while also leading client-facing projects and mentoring junior staff. The environment is fast-paced and varied, offering exposure to a range of enterprise technologies and vendor platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Providing Level 3 support across cloud, infrastructure and systems
Owning escalation tickets from the service desk (networking, security, systems)
Leading cloud and on-prem projects including Azure and Microsoft 365 deployments
Scoping solutions and providing pre-sales support with vendors
Supporting junior engineers with day-to-day mentoring and technical guidance
Managing and improving internal and client-side infrastructure environments
Championing vendor platforms (e.g. Microsoft, N-able, SentinelOne, PRTG)
Maintaining technical documentation and improving SOPs
Conducting cybersecurity benchmarking (Essential Eight, NIST, Microsoft Secure Score)
Supporting virtualised environments (Hyper-V, VMware, Windows Server)
Writing scripts (PowerShell and/or Python) to automate and streamline operations
Troubleshooting across web infrastructure (Windows, Linux, ColdFusion, PHP, IIS, NGINX)
Hit the Ground Supported
Your onboarding experience will be guided by senior leadership and technical peers. During your first few weeks, you’ll:
Work onsite to embed quickly with the team
Receive structured onboarding on ConnectWise, Azure, Intune, and vendor tools
Gain hands-on experience with current projects and infrastructure
Begin handling escalations while learning our processes and client base
Map out a personalised certification and skills growth plan
Be integrated into a culture that supports feedback, initiative, and continuous improvement
We don’t expect you to know everything — we expect you to get involved, stay curious, and keep raising the bar.
Your Toolkit: Technical, Tactical, Team Player
You’re a self-directed engineer with a strong technical foundation and a focus on doing the job right. You’re also a collaborator — someone who supports their team, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a growth-minded, quality-focused environment.
To qualify, you’ll need:
A TAFE or university degree in a relevant field
3+ Microsoft certifications
3+ years experience in a technical MSP or IT services role
You’ll also bring:
Advanced troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10/11
Experience with cloud and hybrid deployments (IaaS, PaaS, Office, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint)
Deep understanding of network and security tools (firewalls, VPNs, switching, PRTG, SentinelOne)
Confidence in virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware) and scripting (PowerShell or Python)
Exposure to development-side infrastructure support (PHP, ColdFusion, IIS, NGINX, Linux)
Familiarity with pre-sales architecture and project delivery
Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
A strong commitment to teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement
Why People Join and Why They Stay
This role offers a competitive salary of $105,000 to $115,000, with flexibility to go higher for the right candidate.
You’ll also receive:
Employer-paid certifications and continuous training
Exposure to enterprise-grade tech and vendor platforms
Hands-on mentoring and leadership engagement
Personalised career development pathways
Supportive, close-knit team culture without bureaucracy
Sydney CBD office location, currently undergoing a full renovation
