We’re on the hunt for a driven and passionate Area Manager to represent Kincrome in one of our key sales territories. You'll be the go-to person for our customers, managing accounts, maximising sales, and proudly flying the Kincrome flag across your region. You’ll take charge of building relationships, driving sell-through, and executing in-store excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage a geographical sales territory ensuring a monthly call cycle is prepared and followed, taking into account geography, customer size and spend, and sales opportunities.
· Establish effective & influential customer relationships
· Ensure core range budgets are achieved by ensuring minimum agreed core ranging is in place in every customer and looking for and taking advantage of opportunities to increase the Kincrome.
· Core range at every customer, via use of stock sheets, sample stock, merchandisers and demonstrating features and benefits.
· Ensure all promotional sales targets are met by demonstrating features and benefits of new products and promotional items and presenting sample stock.
· Ensure sell through of stock at each customer through effective and regular merchandising, including ensuring shelves are well stocked, product is clean and tidy and price tags are present and up to date.
· Identifying and seeking opportunities to merchandise stock in prime locations wherever possible, such as high traffic areas, eye level shelving, pallet stacks, eye catching displays and signage.
· Adhere to and execute all national Head Office promotional activity in Hardware, Automotive, Industrial and Retail (HAIR) channels by keeping informed of National Account objectives.
· Achieve Tool Sale Catalogue (TSC) objectives:
· Sell the features and benefits of the TSC to customers to encourage TSC signs ups including block signups and have these completed by set deadlines.
· Conduct regular analysis of TSC coverage of territory to identify geographical areas not covered by TSC and actively pursue opportunities to sell TSC to customers to cover these areas.
· Seek and identify opportunities for new business for Kincrome.
· Attendance at Trade Shows/Field Days – Area Managers are expected to attend these events from time to time, which may occur on evenings/weekends, after it is determined that attendance at an event will provide value or significant sales opportunities for Kincrome.
· General administration – attend to/resolve warranty claims, organise local area marketing for customers ensuring Kincrome procedures have been followed, and other ad hoc duties as required.
PRE-REQUITIES/QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years in a sales or business development role, ideally B2B or within the tools/hardware industry.
Strong planning and time management skills—you’ll own your calendar and territory.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and close sales.
Confident using systems like Pronto, Excel and Outlook.
Proven ability to work autonomously while being part of a high-performing team.
Willingness to travel throughout your territory and work occasional evenings/weekends for trade events.
Ability to lift and move stock (some lifting over 22.5kg may be required).
