Purpose:

The Lead Business Improvement & Analysis plays a critical role in strengthening the effectiveness, efficiency, and customer centricity of Maranoa Regional Council's operations and services.

Sitting within the Governance & Risk Services team, the position supports a whole-of-organisation approach to identifying, analysing, and enabling improvements in business processes, service models, and operational practices. This includes both manual and system-based processes that affect internal performance and the experience of residents, businesses, and community users.

The role works closely with Council staff across functions to assess current state operations, define future state aspirations, and provide structured analysis to inform practical and cost-effective change. With a strong foundation in data analysis, process thinking, and stakeholder engagement, the role contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, helping Council deliver more value with the resources it has.

Details and Benefits:

• Position based in Roma, Qld
• Full-time position - 36.25hours per week
• Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023 - Stream A - Level 6-7
• Maranoa Locality Allowance - $72.00 per fortnight
