Full-Time Trainer & Assessor – Offshore Survival Training

📍 Based in Jandakot, WA

ERGT Australia is expanding our Offshore Survival Training Team and we’re looking for passionate, experienced Trainer & Assessors to join us full-time. This opportunity is ideal for those wanting to make a real impact by delivering OPITO-approved and Nationally Recognised Training to workers in high-risk industries.

About the role

As part of our training team, you’ll deliver essential survival training, including:

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)

Sea Survival

Emergency Response

You'll be teaching professionals from industries such as Oil & Gas, Aviation, and Maritime—helping them gain the confidence and capability to stay safe and respond effectively in emergency situations.

Preferred Certifications

We welcome applicants who already hold, or are actively working towards, the following:

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Open Water Certification or willingness to obtain one. (ERGT will support successful candidates in progressing to Rescue-level certification.)

Prior experience in Oil & Gas or Aviation is desirable but not essential.
