The Role

Eaton CC is seeking two energetic and motivated individuals to join our supportive and committed team as Student Support Officers. In this important role, you will work closely with students to support their attendance, behaviour, and overall engagement with learning.

You will build positive and respectful relationships with students, staff, and families to help create an inclusive and supportive school environment where all students feel connected and capable of achieving success. The role involves assisting in the coordination of lunchtime activities and whole-school reward programs, contributing to a positive school culture, and supporting initiatives that promote student wellbeing and social development. You will also help identify and address barriers that may impact students’ participation in their education and collaborate with the Student Services team to implement practical strategies that encourage positive behaviour and regular attendance.

Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, experience working with at-risk youth, and involvement in culturally responsive programs will be highly regarded. The successful applicants will ideally be team players who are proactive, empathetic, organised, and committed to fostering high expectations and strong relationships across the school community.
