About Meercroft:

Meercroft was established in 1889 and we are an autonomous, not for profit organization that provides a Constitution of the Home which is run by a Board of Governance. Meercroft is located at the beautiful bluff precinct in Devonport overlooking the Bass Strait. We provide excellence in the provision of quality permanent and respite care services, Meercroft is a 140-bed facility with approximately 240 staff and we are undertaking a significant redevelopment of the facility which will be completed in 2027.

About the role:

Meercroft Care Inc. is offering the opportunity for an outstanding candidate to take on this exceptional role of Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a person centered lifestyle program that incorporates resident’s individual preferences.

Use a computer-based system to develop Lifestyle care plans in consultation with the resident’s

Support our dedicated team of volunteer’s

Comply with all legislative requirements, WHS Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards

Qualifications:

Essential

Applicants would need a minimum qualification of Cert lll in Aged Care and preferably have, or be working towards Cert lV in Leisure and Health or equivalent

Current Motor Vehicle licence

Criminal history Check and Working with Vulnerable Persons cared with NDIS endorsement
