Role/s: 1 x EL1 Project Manager

The Technology Services Division (TSD) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions.
The Project Manager, reporting to the Program Director, is responsible for planning and managing ongoing delivery of Payments Platform program.

As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, the organisation seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the pre-engagement Check.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Co-ordinate technical solution planning activities for new capabilities and features, involving specialty teams within TSD.
• Develop the project schedule and maintain the TSD plan, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements and other priorities.
• Deliver all technical components of the project solution, working with other internal teams to develop system and solution architectures, cyber security and other aspects of the technology delivery for which TSD is responsible.
• Manage delivery partner(s) for system implementation.
• Represent the project in TSD ICT Change Management activities and release planning.
• Ensure TSD technology standards are met, including Cyber assessments, Penetration testing, Go/No-Go gates.
• Apply DevOps principles to improve quality and reliability, in areas such as release processes, automated regression testing, integration with TSD monitoring systems, and synthetic testing.
• Actively manage delivery of the project using TSD's standard Project Management tool, including management of plans, risks, issues and key decisions.
• Publish Weekly TSD Status Reports.
• Maintain a positive collaborative team environment including business and delivery partner(s).
• Provide ICT Delivery leadership to the team, including conformance to delivery methods.
• Be a champion for continuous improvement, leveraging deep experience in ICT Delivery.
