Role Profile: Project Manager (x2)
The first Project Manager will report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will manage and/or oversight the information technology components and schedules related to several strategic initiatives. These initiatives will have external vendor components so experience in navigating public sector procurement requirements is essential.
The second Project Manager will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and will manage the information technology components and schedules related to the Cyber Security funding projects.
The two Project Managers will coordinate procurement exercises and work and partnership and selected supplier to deliver outcomes or transition to the selected service. This will include project work breakdown structures, requirements gathering, project risk register, tracking of project issues and escalations, status of task allocations internally and across Client teams, maintenance of project documentation and artefacts, and regular progress reporting.
Role Duties
The Project Manager will be required to undertake the following duties as directed by the CIO or CISO:
- Project manage multiple work streams, work packages, and activities against target deadlines within a time-critical work environment to ensure that deliverables are prioritised and completed within the specified timeframes.
- Produce project artefacts based on industry standard project management methodologies tailored to agile oriented practices.
- Facilitate business stakeholder or internal ICT workshops for requirements gathering and/or other business analysis activities as required.
- Preparation of strategies, plans, business case, benefits realisation and other project activity as required.
- Scope, plan and co-ordinate work packages and tasking around technical subject matter content.
- Plan and co-ordinate delivery of work activities that include multiple IT teams, suppliers, service partners
- Ensure project priorities are delivered on time, on budget and within quality tolerances.
- Manage project and work packages.
Note: this is a hands-on PM role which is expected to be proficient in promptly producing and managing project schedules, using office applications, facilitating meetings, and producing related action items, artefacts, info graphics, and documents. It is not a role which delegates to or relies on others to produce these sorts of outcomes.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
