About the Role
As a team member at Caretakers Australia, you’ll be both a talent strategist and a solutions partner. You’ll source and place skilled aged care professionals, disability support workers, and support coordinators in roles that directly improve lives.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving, passionate team who are committed to delivering value and devising solutions to optimise the day-to-day life of a recruiter. You are dynamic, versatile, and able to adapt to the challenges of the role, while never losing the human connection that drives meaningful placements. Your ability to adapt, think creatively, and collaborate across stakeholder groups will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Strategic Partnership
Build trusted, long-term partnerships with aged care facilities, NDIS providers, retirement villages, and community health organisations.
Understand each organisation’s evolving needs, offering tailored, future-ready workforce solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for staffing strategies and NDIS plans.
Maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities across contract, temp, and permanent roles.
Candidate Engagement & Talent Strategy
Source, attract, and engage qualified professionals using established platforms, networks, and proprietary systems that you can contribute to build.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify not only capability, but cultural fit, compassion, and resilience.
Build and manage a dynamic talent pool ready to meet shifting industry needs.
Create a seamless, respectful, and human-centered candidate experience from first contact to placement.
Full-Cycle Recruitment Delivery
Manage the entire recruitment process—from job ad creation through to successful placement.
Ensure candidates meet all compliance standards, including NDIS screening, work rights, WHS requirements, and relevant certifications.
Innovation & Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of policy, compliance, and workforce trends across aged care and disability services.
Recommend process improvements and experiment with new approaches to sourcing, engagement, and employer branding.
Contribute to Caretakers Australia's evolution as a future-facing, values-driven recruitment partner.
Who You Are
A skilled recruiter or hiring specialist with a passion for aged care and community services.
Experienced in healthcare or community hiring, with a strong grasp of aged care operations, compliance, and NDIS frameworks.
Tech-confident and curious—comfortable using ATS, recruitment platforms, and AI tools to improve outcomes.
Empathetic and adaptable—you lead with care but drive results.
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, change-ready team culture.
An excellent communicator with the ability to influence, support, and collaborate.
