About the Role
We're seeking an NDIS Operations Manager to support our expanding client base. This is a leadership role perfect for someone with solid NDIS knowledge and accounting fundamentals who wants to take ownership of business operations. Key Responsibilities
NDIS Accounting & Compliance
Handle payroll processing and invoice management
Generate NDIS CSV files and maintain compliance standards
Manage accounts reconciliation and bill processing
Oversee NDIS support item numbers and pricing
Draft and manage contracts for both clients and staff
Ensure ongoing NDIS compliance across all operations
Business Operations
Organize and maintain Xero accounting systems (training provided)
Streamline client and staff files in Google Drive
Manage email systems and invoicing processes
Coordinate bill collection and summarization
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
System Optimization
Bring order to existing accounting and administrative systems
Implement efficient processes for ongoing operations
Support business growth through organized systems and procedures
Essential Requirements
NDIS knowledge mandatory - solid understanding of NDIS compliance, support items, and accounting requirements
Accounting certification required
Tech-savvy and adaptable - comfortable with software systems, CSV generation, and quick to learn new tools
ShiftCare experience highly preferred
Local to the area - this is not a remote position
Common sense and problem-solving skills - ability to think through challenges independently
Contract drafting and management capabilities
Strong organizational and communication skills

Desirable Experience
Marketing and sales experience
Previous experience in disability services or healthcare accounting
