We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in O'Connor and play a key role in the success of major electrical projects across WA

About the role:

As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be an integral part of our Pre-Contracts team, taking full ownership of end-to-end estimating functions for a diverse range of projects in construction, heavy industrial, and mining sectors.

You will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to prepare accurate and competitive tenders that align with company goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the line manager, you will be responsible for:

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to define scope and requirements

Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment

Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing

Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.

Compile and submit high-quality tender packages and proposals within deadlines

Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes

About you:

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a high level of commercial awareness to every bid.

Essential Requirements:

Unrestricted Australian Work Rights

Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical or construction disciplines

Electrical trade qualification (highly regarded)

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an estimator in the construction, industrial, or mining sectors

Strong understanding of Australian Standards, project methodology, and industry pricing

Excellent analytical and communication skills
