About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Design, this position will provide assistance, advice and support to the Technical Services Program Area to ensure delivery of engineering designs of capital projects including civil works, asset renewals, leisure and recreation assets and other projects. This role will actively participate in cost effective technical investigations and in the development of design documentation, for civil works and assist/supervise the services of contractors as required.
The ideal applicant will have:
· Strong background in engineering design, particularly in civil works and asset renewals
· Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical and sustainable solutions
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
