About the role

Role is permanent full time and is based in Clayton.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our small hardworking Finance team. A competitive salary is on offer, work life balance, and a supportive working environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your knowledge and skillset of Accounts Payable will be required to process and manage a wide range of Suppliers in a complex environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive and process Supplier Invoices

Match Supplier Invoices to Purchase Orders

Prepare Supplier Reconciliations on a Monthly basis

Follow up Supplier account related discrepancies

Schedule payments for processing in a timely manner

Creating New Suppliers onto the system

Support internal & external audits as required

Cash flow forecast on planned payments

Credit Cards Management

Relief Reception

Performing other administration and accounts duties where required

Willingness to be cross-trained and assist in other areas of accounts (eg: Accounts Receivable, Payroll etc)

Skills and Experience

Strong experience in Accounts Payable ( Minimum 5 years )

Intermediate IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Analytical approach, problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail

Highly motivated and take a high level of pride and personal ownership

Ability to effectively balance competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Be hardworking, reliable, and have a pleasant and professional attitude
