As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality products while gaining expertise in our production processes. You’ll work alongside a passionate, supportive team and report to the Senior Team Leader on the Afternoon Shift. This is a permanent, full-time role working 38 hours per week. To be successful in this position, you will need to be available to work the following hours:

Afternoon Shift Hours

Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Friday 10:00am-4:00pm

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate activities with other Beverage’s areas for efficient and continuous operations.
• Move product, restock materials and follow instructions as per the production process.
  
• Record data as required and undertake product and quality testing.
• Clean machinery and maintain hygiene in the production area.
• Take part in continuous improvement activities.
  

The successful applicant will also have the following skills and experience:

• Forklift License or willingness to obtain is critical.
• Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks in a constructive manner.
• Ability to analyse information and make decisions accordingly.
• Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
• Demonstrated experience driving a positive culture aligned to Sanitarium’s values of In It Together, We Make It Happen, Pioneering Today for Tomorrow and Serving Others.
