About the role
Waffle Pod is seeking an experienced Afternoon Shift Machine Operator - Factory Hand to join our team in St Marys, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production machinery.
What you'll be doing
Operate a variety of the latest state of the art production machines and equipment in a safe and effective manner
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
Assist with the loading, unloading and movement of raw materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a machine operator or factory hand in a manufacturing environment
Preferred applicant will have minimum 2 years' experience in EPS or Injection Moudling processes
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
Forklift licence essential
