Our leading Insurance client is seeking an Environment Manager on a 12 month contract to join their team in the Sydney CBD. This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, with 10 in-office days per month.

The Environment Manager will support the business on a strategic program of work, coordinating technical environments across corporate services, broker services, and Appian & Guidewire cloud environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of support to ensure all systems are operating effectively during development and testing phases.
• Take ownership of driving high-quality development practices and maintain visibility across the delivery roadmap to ensure developers are supported and issues are proactively addressed.
• Liaise with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure readiness for major releases.

Experience required:

• 10 + Years managing complex, large-scale environments in large enterprise environments (Financial Services, is a must).
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Guidewire Cloud and Appian highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to work with developers, testers, and senior business leaders.
• Strong problem-solving capability with a mindset for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
