The Role:
As Head Chef, you'll be in charge of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including:

Menu planning with a focus on local produce and seasonal dishes

Leading and mentoring kitchen staff

Managing food costs, stock, and supplier relationships

Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Working with management to deliver a great dining experience

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar leadership role (Sous Chef or Head Chef)

Strong understanding of kitchen operations and cost control

Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development

Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team

Commitment to quality, consistency, and safe kitchen practices

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification

Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Competitive salary package, $75000 to $90000 per year
