We’re not just BBQ sauce and mayo (though we’ve nailed those). Fancy Hank’s Products is the retail arm of Melbourne’s favourite BBQ crew — our bottles are in 300+ stores nationwide, at festivals, in collabs, and in online carts weekly.

Behind every product is a story worth telling, and we’re building an always-on content engine to share them. Think less “polished ad” and more real moments, real people, and a founder who’s ready to front the brand.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, self-sufficient Digital Content Creator & Coordinator who lives and breathes short-form video. You’ll take our “document, don’t create” philosophy and turn everyday brand moments into TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts content that people actually want to watch.

You’ll work closely with our co-founder and the internal marketing team to dream up scripts, capture lo-fi footage, edit, post, and keep our audience coming back for more

What You’ll Do

Develop simple, effective content ideas from briefs, trends, and real-time brand moments

Shoot and edit founder-led videos, behind-the-scenes clips, and event footage

Optimise content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Join us on-site occasionally (BBQ festivals, production days, store visits) to capture content

Spot trends, suggest fresh formats, and keep us ahead of the curve

Write captions that match our brand’s personality

Schedule and post content, engage with comments/DMs, and track UGC

Support product launches, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns

What You’ll Bring

1–3 years’ experience in content creation or social media (freelance or in-house)

Strong short-form video skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, InShot, TikTok tools, etc.)

Confident filming in dynamic environments (venues, events, kitchens)

Hospitality, lifestyle, or food/retail brand experience a plus

Strong understanding of TikTok, Reels, and Shorts culture

Comfortable writing light scripts and guiding on-camera delivery

A folio or examples of Reels/TikToks you’ve created
