POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista All Rounder to join our coffee roastery and cafe. This role combines exceptional coffee service with food preparation duties, representing our commitment to quality in every cup.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coffee Service Excellence:

Consistently prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages

Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art

Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision

Conduct quality control checks on all beverages before service

Educate customers about our coffee origins, roasting process, and brewing methods

Customer Service:

Deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect Cirelli Coffee's values

Process orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions

Build rapport with regular customers and create a welcoming café atmosphere

Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally

Upsell products and promote seasonal offerings

Food Preparation & Safety:

Prepare and serve light food items

Follow food safety protocols and maintain hygiene standards

Assist with inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO principles)

Maintain clean and organized food preparation areas

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Barista experience in a commercial café environment

Experience in food preparation.

RSA certification

Food Safety Supervisor certificate

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and quality focus

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Team player with collaborative approach

WORKING CONDITIONS

Casual employment with regular shifts available

Weekend Saturday work required
