About the role

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Barista / Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant cafe team at QTO Coffee' in Gawler, SA. In this casual position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee and food offerings. This casual role is flexible for those studying or looking for a second job but with the potential for a more permanent position in the future if desired. What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers

Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and light meals

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience

Assisting with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience with Specialty Coffee is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently

Good time management and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work space
