We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Urban Design to join a highly regarded international design practice in their Sydney office. In this key role, you will work closely with the Urban Design leadership team to deliver exceptional urban spaces, playing a vital part in shaping a better future through authentic, sustainable, and city-shaping design. Key Responsibilities:

Independently lead the design and delivery of complex urban design projects from inception to completion.

Manage project resourcing and profitability.

Define and manage project deliverables to align with project scope and budget.

Support project pursuits by assisting with bid writing and project proposals.

Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and external stakeholders.

Skills, Experience & Requirements:

Postgraduate qualification in Urban Design or Urban Planning.

Undergraduate qualification in architecture, landscape architecture, or planning, with professional registration highly desirable.

8-10 years of professional experience in urban design and related fields.

Excellent graphic skills with proficiency in digital tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, REVIT, and Rhino, as well as strong hand-drawing abilities.

A strong understanding of government strategy, policy, and infrastructure systems.

Demonstrated experience in project leadership, client management, and bid writing.

A creative and curious mindset with a design-led approach to problem-solving.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
