Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our growing team, where you will provide strategic and pragmatic advice on a range of employment law and workplace safety matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality legal work, including disputes, litigation, and workplace safety issues across diverse industries. The position will allow you to handle your own client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic legal advice to clients on employment law, helping businesses navigate complex legal environments.

Handle employment disputes and litigation, representing clients at the Fair Work Commission, other relevant tribunals and court.

Draft a broad range of legal documents, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and materials for litigation.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while offering exceptional legal service.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Between 2-4 years of experience in employment law;

Relevant experience in drafting and advocacy at conciliation and court experience;

Strong analytical and written communication skills;

Confidence in managing client relationships and matters independently;

Passion for helping clients navigate complex workplace issues; and

A proactive and collaborative working style.
