Salary: $90K–$110K base + super + bonus + performance incentives

Rocket & Ash Immigration Law is a highly regarded boutique firm specialising exclusively in immigration law. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our dynamic team. About the Role

As an Immigration Lawyer at Rocket & Ash, you will manage a diverse portfolio of matters, including complex individual applications and corporate immigration strategies. You will work closely with our Principal Solicitor and broader legal team to provide strategic legal advice, prepare high-quality documentation, and represent clients with integrity and care.

This role requires sound judgment, technical precision, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely legal advice across a range of immigration matters, including:

Partner Visas (Subclass 820/309)

Work Visas (Subclass 482/186)

Student Visas (Subclass 500/485)

Prepare, review, and lodge visa applications for individuals and corporate clients

Draft high-quality legal submissions and correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs

Conduct legal research and maintain current knowledge of legislation and policy

Liaise professionally with clients, government departments, and stakeholders

Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and resolution

Maintain accurate case records and ensure full legal compliance

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor with admission to practice as a solicitor in NSW

5–7 years’ experience in immigration law, preferably across boutique and corporate environments

Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research skills

Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal

Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and accurately

High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and client empathy

Familiarity with Migration Manager, Adobe, DocuSign, and Asana highly desirable

A genuine passion for immigration law and client advocacy
