The Team:

The Westbury Community Health Centre provides Meander Valley residents with the opportunity to access health and community services.

Services: Community Nursing Westbury and surrounding areas, Community Nursing Longford, Perth and surrounding areas; Social Work Services; Family Child Health Nurse; Westbury Day Centre; Rainbow Room - Dementia specific; Hadspen Day Centre; Home Help.

Visiting Services: Podiatry, Meals on Wheels-Red Cross, Yoga Classes, Hydrotherapy, Exercise Groups, Better Ageing Programs, Community Groups.

The Role:

The occupant of this position will work in accordance with well-established administrative procedures and work methods and will be responsible for reception, administrative and clerical support services under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.

You will need:

  • Provide telephone and reception services for the Westbury Community Health Centre, ensuring the provision of appropriate assistance to community members and visitors presenting to the facility, and sensitive and confidential handling of enquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to Westbury Community Health Centre management and staff, including petty cash management, word processing, spreadsheet, database and e-mail services and maintain and schedule appointments as required.
  • Provide secretarial support to the Nurse Unit Manager, other staff based at the Centre and various committees, including the preparation of agendas and minutes as required.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team until 29 June 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
