About the Role

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our mechanical engineering capabilities across fabrication, commissioning, maintenance and shutdown operations for mining clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, install and modify mechanical assemblies, machine tools, hydraulic power systems and components.

Support engineering and technical teams in mechanical plant design and equipment modifications.

Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

At Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Experience in heavy‑duty mechanical systems, mining environments or fabrication workshops.

Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.

Sound understanding of mechanical safety standards and engineering best practices.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
