About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Perth office. This is a full-time position, where you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative consumables for our clients. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical engineering projects, from concept to completion. Working closely with the GM and Engineering Manager.

Candidates must be based in Perth to apply for this position.

· Understanding Consumables and working closely with fellow employees and clients

· Locating and measuring standards of new Consumables including rock tools, lasers, fittings etc..

· Inputting data and information into their software

What you'll be doing

Designing and developing mechanical systems and components to meet client requirements

Conducting engineering analyses, such as stress and thermal analyses, to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical systems

Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and technicians, to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Providing technical support and advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry

Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the work
