As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, well-rounded support for our operations, maintenance and production teams. This part-time position, based in Morwell, offers the opportunity to contribute to a longstanding local business.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate data entry to maintain operational and inventory records.
Source, order, and occasionally pick up parts from local suppliers to support maintenance and production teams.
Prepare and manage purchase orders efficiently.
Draft professional emails and correspondence.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reports, documentation, and communication.
Manage inventory and workflows using Pronto software.
Assist with drafting and updating SOPs
Assist with rostering and payroll
Provide general administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
Travel locally as needed to collect parts or support operational tasks.
About You
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented individual with the following skills and experience:
Valid Australian driver’s license (essential for local travel to suppliers).
Proven experience in data entry and administrative roles.
Knowledge of parts procurement and inventory management, including ordering for maintenance and production.
Proficiency in writing purchase orders and professional emails.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong data entry skills.
Experience with Pronto software (highly desirable; training provided if needed).
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
