About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Eastern Subaru as a New and Used Vehicle Sales Consultant. Based in Lilydale, Victoria, this full-time role will see you playing a key part in driving the success of our growing dealership, with 2 new and exciting brands arriving late this year, the opportunity for gross and volume are better than ever. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers through the car-buying process, helping them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs.

What you'll be doing

Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide personalised recommendations

Demonstrate and test drive vehicles to showcase their features and benefits

Negotiate sales and close deals, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience

Maintain detailed sales records and provide timely, accurate reporting

Stay up-to-date with Subaru's product range, pricing and promotions

Support the broader sales team with lead generation and other sales activities

What we're looking for

Prior experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the automotive industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets

Detailed product knowledge and the passion to provide exceptional customer service

A confident and professional demeanor, with the drive to succeed in a target-driven environment
