About the role:
Operating within The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy, the Academic Operations Manager supports the Executive Dean and Faculty Leadership Team in leading and managing the Faculty's administrative and governance operations to ensure achievement of their strategic priorities, effective resource planning and utilisation and maintenance of a sustainable operational framework for Professional Services. The position manages the operation of complex administrative and technical functions encompassing the delivery of student, academic and operational services; optimal planning and utilisation of the school's physical and human resources; ensuring compliance with Faculty/University policies and procedures. The Academic Operations Manager provides leadership to the Hub's Course and Student Administration (CASA) Teams. The role provides strategic operational advice to the Director Strategic Operations and the Faculty's Executive team which includes problem-solving on critical issues, identifying potential opportunities and risks and recommending and implementing appropriate actions to ensure that the professional services operation successfully meets the needs of staff and students. The Academic Operations Manager is a core member of the Faculty's Leadership team. The role contributes to the development and implementation of innovative Faculty-wide plans and strategic actions integral to the continued development of the Faculty.

Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,383 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
