We provide national leadership on the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and collaborate with the Australian and state and territory governments to:
- implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families
- monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
- support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

The Role
The Content Developer, Leadership and Management for the Queensland Leadership and Management Professional Development Program (LAMP) will use their expertise in leadership, management, writing, and professional development to coordinate the creation of resources, communications, and frameworks. Working with subject matter experts, ACECQA staff, educators, and early childhood leaders, they will help design the program framework and develop inclusive, engaging materials for eLearning, workshops, and other resources to enhance leadership skills among early childhood educators and leaders.
This role is full time and fixed-term (6 month) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039).
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Qualifications in leadership and management and/or relevant level of knowledge and demonstrated expertise in leadership and management practices, theories, principles and frameworks.
- Proven ability to plan, write, curate, and meticulously edit high quality professional development materials, and to translate research into practical application.
- Demonstrated skill in applying adult and experiential learning principles to create inclusive, engaging professional development that builds capability.
- Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and communicate with influence.
- Knowledge of the operating environment of the children's education and care sector, and the NQF, including related legislation and sector resources.
- Experience in successfully coordinating project activities to meet contractual deadlines, milestones and quality standards, while managing conflicting priorities and adapting to change.
- Proven ability to nurture positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with confidence to support program outcomes.
- Demonstrated intermediate Microsoft 365 Suite skills, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Planner and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role:
- Undergraduate qualification or higher in early childhood education or a related field of study; or comparable professional experience.
- Experience and qualifications in workplace training and assessment or a related field.
