International Nepal Fellowship Australia is a faith-based international development organisation committed to sustainable change through strong, community-based partnerships. The Role: Programs Administrator / Nepal Programs Manager
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nepal Programs Manager to lead our partnerships and programs in Nepal. This key role will manage and support local partner organisations, ensure quality project implementation, and maintain compliance and accreditation standards.
As the Nepal Programs Manager, you will also engage with Australian church networks, contribute to sector-wide collaboration, and work closely with funding and communications teams to amplify the impact of our work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen relationships with local partners in Nepal
Support project design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting aligned with ANCP and INFA standards
Conduct partner visits to review performance and provide training and capacity-building
Support the development of participatory capacity assessments and evaluations
Maintain strong relationships with DFAT Kathmandu Post, Nepal-based NGOs, and ACFID networks
Contribute to sector learning and collaboration through communities of practice
Liaise with Nepal-focused funding partners and support joint advocacy and training initiatives
Ensure organisational readiness for accreditation.
Maintain tools, systems, and documentation to support robust and effective project management
Align partner audits and training with accreditation requirements
Engage Nepalese and other church networks across Australia to build awareness and support
Coordinate with the Communications Manager to share partner stories and impact
Provide input for social media and fundraising campaigns
Regularly assess progress toward strategic and annual work plans
What We’re Looking For
Relevant degree in international development, community development, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in international program management, preferably in South Asia
Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective partnerships with grassroots organisations
Strong understanding of ANCP, and ACFID standards and reporting frameworks
Experience with capacity-building, M&E, and participatory development approaches
Excellent cross-cultural communication and relational skills
Alignment with the values and mission of our organisation
Willingness to travel to Nepal and within Australia as required
Desirable
Experience working with or within faith-based organisations
Knowledge of the Nepalese context or language is an asset
Experience engaging church communities in Australia
