We’re looking for a hands-on digital marketing all-rounder to help us take our brand, voice, and growth to the next level.
Who we are:
Decipher Bureau is a specialist recruitment business with a long-standing reputation in the cyber security and tech risk space. After 11 years in the market, we’re entering an exciting new phase of growth, and we’re bringing our digital marketing and content function in-house for the first time.
The opportunity:
This newly created role is offered on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week) and can be based in either Sydney (preference) or Brisbane. You’ll report directly to the company's Directors and work closely with the Creative Director and Operations Manager, playing a central role in reviewing, building, and executing our marketing strategy.
This is a great opportunity for a strategic yet creative digital marketer who’s excited to shape our content, campaigns, and communications across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a marketing and content review project across internal (staff) and external (client-facing) documentation
- Create engaging content across platforms, including LinkedIn, Jobadder, X (Twitter), TikTok and Discord
- Manage and grow our social media presence with a strong brand voice tailored to cyber audiences
- Plan and deliver digital marketing campaigns that support business growth and community engagement
- Assist in coordinating content and promotions for internal and client-facing cyber security events
- Write and edit industry-specific content such as salary guides, job market updates and blog posts
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure brand consistency across all materials
- Build and refine our digital marketing strategy, including scheduling, targeting and reporting
- Maintain and optimise website SEO performance to support visibility and inbound engagement
- Ensure internal documentation is up to date, well-presented, and aligned to our brand standards
- Support client tender submissions and recruitment proposals
- Use tools like Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp (or similar), and analytics platforms to deliver quality outcomes
- Take initiative to identify and drive content and marketing improvements across the business
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing or communications role
- Strategic and creative thinker capable of generating great ideas and concepts.
- Strong eye for design detail and layout.
- Create on-brand and innovative design solutions.
- Expert in Adobe Acrobat and Canva.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Adobe Fonts, and templates; willingness to learn is a plus.
- Ability to source and manipulate images, graphics, and icons.
- Knowledge of design guidelines.
- Proven experience managing social media and digital platforms
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
- Self-starter with great initiative and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities and reporting lines
- B2B or recruitment/tech/cyber security experience is a plus
- Experience in the tech or cyber security industry would also be desirable.
