THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, organised and creative Communications & Marketing Assistant to provide coordination, administrative, and project support to the communications & marketing team which services the various business units at Clarence Property.
As a key member of our marketing team, the role will support the successful delivery of marketing campaigns across the business. From planning social content to formatting presentations, marketing calendars, sponsorship, advertising and more… you'll be involved in all areas of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Provide administrative & coordination support for the day to day communications and marketing activities, across the business:
Budgets / Invoices / Financials
Maintaining marketing calendars, campaign plans & projects, accurate records, registers and databases.
Drafting press releases and other creative content for various platforms.
Preparing and submitting reports on marketing performance including analysing data and insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize future campaign performance.
Assist with creating and implementing social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta Business (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, Google, and Bing.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and develop targeted communication and marketing plans.
Assist with the creation and development of communication and marketing material, including brand elements, graphics, logos, email newsletters, websites and more.
Manage and maintain websites using WordPress, ensuring timely updates and optimal user experience.
Assist with coordinating events, sponsorships, conferences, and other marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest communications and marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related industry and/or be currently studying in this field.
A passion for marketing and communications including advertising, public relations, drafting media content, event coordination, websites and digital creative.
A flair for creative design and content creation would be advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop, nurture and manage positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
Proficient with MS Office packages (Word, Excel), experience with various suites including Zoho, Mailchimp, Canva and the Adobe Suite will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of website management systems including WordPress and basic HTML/CSS would be helpful.
Experience across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, Bing etc).
Current Driver’s License (Travel will be required at times).
Due to the nature of the role and events, some outside of normal business hours work may be required time to time.
