Marketing and Communications Manager
St Pius X College, a leading Catholic boys’ school in the Edmund Rice tradition, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the College’s marketing, branding, and community engagement initiatives.
In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that enhance the College’s profile, support student enrolments, and foster strong relationships with students, families, alumni, and the wider community. The successful candidate will manage digital platforms, publications, advertising, and event promotions, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging aligned with the College’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the College’s marketing and communications strategy.
Manage the College’s Social Media Calendar, digital content, and the College website.
Oversee publications, advertising, and media relations.
Promote enrolments and key events such as Open Day.
Ensure brand consistency across all channels and materials.
Conduct data analysis and regularly report to the Principal about web, email and digital campaigns.

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High-level organisational and event management skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including outside standard hours when required and within a hybrid model.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
Commitment to educational excellence and the values of Catholic education
Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the marketplace and its competitive nature for independent and Catholic boys’ schools, with a specific focus on the digital presence of these schools
Experience in developing, executing and analysing social media advertising programs across all relevant Social Media Platforms
Experience with CRM platforms and managing email marketing. Specific experience in managing email campaigns, leveraging audience segmentation will be highly valued
An understanding of relevance performance metrics and a strong ability to analyse data and form action plans to deliver improvements in metrics
Experience partnering with agencies for the delivery of key priorities
Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities on time, on budget, and with multiple stakeholders.
About You:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Proven experience in marketing, preferably in education or not-for-profit organisations
Strong digital, content creation, and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Polished and professional presentation
A commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
