We have an immediate need with our industry-leading client across their businesses and automated control system projects. With a national portfolio of operations, we have a contract opportunity for a Senior Controls System Engineer with CITECT SCADA experience to join their Engineering team based in Brisbane.

They are looking for an engineer to support control system-related issues, ensuring effective plant and equipment efficiency by developing and implementing strategies and processes that advance automated control systems.

Your responsibilities and skills will include, but not limited to:

• Evaluating, planning, coordinating, and implementing systems projects
• Providing support for breakdowns and production-critical issues
• Improving plant capability, safety, and reliability by improving proactive maintenance systems
• Overseeing Schneider PLC Programming & configuration of systems
• Design, program, and commission automation and control systems using Citect SCADA
• Provide governance on all control systems changes, including risk assessment, compliance to design standards, and verification
• Experience with a range of Schneider PLC/SCADA/RTU types and applications
• Rockwell, Schneide,r and/or other programming experience

Ideal Qualifications:

• 8 - 10 years of previous experience in control systems and/ or electrical engineering support
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Control Systems Engineering
• Competent in configuring and programming various platforms

On offer is a long-term rolling contract with a stable mining company. Your role will be based out of the city office in Brisbane, with occasional site work for commissioning, etc.
