The Role:
The Systems Engineer will design, deliver, and maintain hybrid cloud and internal IT infrastructure solutions. You will lead incident management, drive business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, and collaborate across teams to implement innovative, secure technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the community. Your technical expertise and stakeholder engagement will be key to delivering value-driven services.

Responsibilities:

• Promote safety-first culture and lead WHS compliance
• Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure performance and security
• Lead incident responses and post-incident reviews
• Provide expert advice on system changes and lifecycle management
• Develop and test disaster recovery processes
• Monitor emerging technology trends for strategic improvements

Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years IT experience with 3-5 years in a similar systems engineer role
• Expertise in Windows Domains, Microsoft Azure, Office 365
• Proficient in PowerShell, Bicep, infrastructure-as-code scripting
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Cisco networking, security technologies
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
