About you:

You are an outstanding Disability Support Worker with behaviour support experience, ideally looking for work in or around the Wheelers Hill, Melbourne area. You are comfortable working with individuals who exhibit complex behaviours and require significant supervision, care, and guidance. You excel at maintaining a safe environment and are competent in ensuring compliance is always maintained.

You excel at managing stressful situations while providing exceptional care. Your English and comprehension skills must be excellent.

Disability Support Worker - Behaviour Supports

About the role(s):

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team across the Brisbane area.

You will be involved in the client's daily routines. Providing personal care and social support, and implementing positive behaviour support strategies, as well as writing progress notes and incident reports during your shift.

Flexibility to work with short notice, providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week.

The successful candidate MUST have:

Experience working with participants who have complex disabilities and behaviours

Availability to work afternoons / inactive sleep-overs and weekends

Australian driver's license & own car

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Qualification (minimum certificate 3 in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care)

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Flexibility and willingness to work at night and sleepover shifts

NDIS Worker Screening Card

Current Police check/certificate
