Laboratory & Quality Assurance Coordinator – Western Sydney, NSW
Location: Western Sydney, NSW
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm (flexibility on this)
Are you a quality-driven Lab & QA professional looking to take ownership in a hands-on technical role? We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory & Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead quality systems and NATA-accredited testing for a long-established manufacturing company in Western Sydney. This role is key to ensuring product compliance, managing ISO9001 and NATA requirements, and driving continuous improvement across quality and testing operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Operate and maintain the test laboratory in compliance with NATA and ISO9001 standards
- Conduct accredited window and door testing to AS2047 using AS4420.1 methods
- Maintain lab documentation, equipment calibration, and audit schedules
- Lead internal audits and act as primary contact for external ISO/NATA assessments
- Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service on quality investigations
- Investigate customer returns and product complaints to drive improvements
- Maintain SOPs, quality forms, and system records
- Monitor and manage inventory of testing equipment and lab materials
- Support ongoing quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a NATA-accredited lab or QA-based manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of ISO9001 and AS2047 testing methods
- Strong documentation and audit management skills
- Experience coordinating quality investigations and reporting
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Background in manufacturing or construction products a bonus
