South West TAFE is seeking a Maintenance Officer – Facilities who is outgoing and enjoys being a key contributor to the smooth operation of our campus.
This role is ideal for a motivated and well-organised individual who enjoys variety in their work and values being part of a team that supports staff and students alike. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate room setups for meetings, events, and teaching spaces
- Manage the distribution of mail and goods across campus
- Support cleaning contractors and conduct regular audits
- Purchase and maintain stock of consumables for campus use
- Induct contractors and uphold safe work practices
- Assist with general maintenance tasks across all Warrnambool Campus facilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with staff, suppliers, and service providers
What You’ll Bring:
- Certificate III in Asset Maintenance or relevant experience
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
- Working with Children Check and Police Check
