About the Role
We’re looking for a switched-on and experienced Office Administrator who can step in, take direction, and show initiative. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable completing both data entry and administration tasks in a small business environment.
Our directors are focused on big-picture strategy, so we need someone who can work independently, problem solve and keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly without needing constant direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable/ Payable & Data Entry – Following the direction of the bookkeeper, complete data entry, daily reconciliation, creation of quotations or invoices and management of payables.
Payroll Support – Assist with the accurate and timely collation of payroll and timesheet entries for directors.
Administrative Support – General office administration and support.
Project Support - Supporting site teams with admin needs such as scheduling, initial induction requirements and more.
Compliance & Procedures –Update and maintain policies, procedures and compliance documents such as SWMS.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with the whole team, assist with inductions for new projects and assist with clock in/ clock out system.
About You
You're someone who thrives in a small business environment, can handle a busy desk, and isn’t afraid to jump into new tasks. You’ll be tech-savvy, organised, and a natural problem solver.
What You Bring:
Previous experience in office administration and working in small business environments.
Proven experience in data entry and experience in accounting software (preferably Xero)
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
A proactive attitude with the ability to resolve issues without needing constant direction
