My client is a fast-growing property development company with in-house construction and development teams, includes a self-managed logistics chain and cabinet production facility.
Location: Barangaroo, Sydney
Reporting to: Managing Director
Direct Reports: 7
Salary: $200,000 + Super, OTE Up to $300,000 + Super
Recent Project Highlight:
- 350-hectare land development in Western Sydney
- House-and-land package projects in Rouse Hill, Sydney
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead day-to-day business operations of construction delivery, client service, and support functions.
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and profitability across all construction projects.
- Ensure effective project time management, from planning to execution and delivery.
- Drive strategic planning, process efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee and optimise the logistics centre operations, including cabinet inventory management and demand planning.
- Leading end-to-end project execution across internal teams and external partners.
- Manage key relationships with contractors, OEMs, suppliers, and clients.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of 7 direct reports,
- Ensure on-site safety standards are met, monitor construction quality, and proactively manage project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
About You:
You are a proactive, solutions-focused leader with deep operational expertise and a background in construction. You have a hands-on approach and a strong ability to lead people and manage complex projects with multiple moving parts.
You'll Bring:
- 10+ years' experience in senior operations or construction management roles.
- A solid background in construction with a strong grasp of site operations, building processes, and project execution.
- Experience managing budgets, tracking financial forecasts, and helping projects stay profitable.
- Demonstrated success in growing revenue and managing key client relationships.
- Experience in house and land development projects, Residential Projects, or high-rise residential construction.
- Experience managing cabinet production inventory and coordinating with logistics or warehousing teams.

- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
